Kenneth Howard Gibson, son of Howard and Rita (Hubbard) Gibson, was born September 30, 1943 in Oswego, Kansas and departed this life on January 15, 2015 in Springdale, Arkansas at the age of 71 years.
Kenneth supported his family by working as a carpenter in the construction industry. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his 2 dogs, Lucy & Buttons. Kenneth loved sitting on his porch while listening to country music. He also liked watching Westerns. Kenneth thought that anything could be fixed with Duct Tape. He will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandchild: Mace McReynolds.
Kenneth is survived by a loving family that includes his wife: Connie Gibson of the home near Westville, OK, children: Ricky Joe Gibson of Paris, AR, Donna McReynolds and husband Randy of Siloam Springs, AR, Diana Gibson and partner Valerie Helm of Checotah, OK, Tammy Lawmaster and husband David of Siloam Springs, Jimmy Joe Gibson and wife Kathy of Westville, 12 grandchildren: Matthew McReynolds of Siloam Springs, Rory Daniels and wife Teresa of Paris, Tyler McReynolds of Centerton, AR, Brien Lawmaster of Siloam Springs, Amanda Goins of Frankfort, KY, Justin Gibson and wife Stacie of Westville, Colton Gibson of Westville, Peyton Lawmaster of Siloam Springs, Tanner Gibson of Paris, Hannah Lawmaster of Siloam Springs, Emily Gibson of Westville, Madison Gibson of Westville, 7 great grandchildren, sister: Rita Abrams and husband Loren "Inkie" of Rogers, AR, nieces and nephews: Vicky, Kendra, Mickey and Michelle, a special friend: Joe Hogner "Indian Joe". He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Gathering was held from 2 - 4 pm on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Roberts & Hart Funeral Home, Westville, OK with family and friends in attendance.
