Joyce Gibson was born February 3, 1940 in Denison, Texas to Reedeth and Enoch Frank Lewis. She passed away December 16, 2016 at Reydon, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years, 10 months and 13 days.
Joyce grew up in Yale, Oklahoma where she graduated from high school in 1958. She devoted her life to helping others in the healthcare industry as a nurse and also in medical records. After her retirement in 2005 she enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and also great grandchildren and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 son, Timothy Gibson.
She is survived by her 5 children, Renita Holland, Reydon, OK, Jo
Gibson, Erick, OK, Marty Gibson and wife, Lisa, Corinth, MS, Teresa Cox,
Reydon, OK and Robin Gibson, Arizona City, AZ; 11 grandchildren, 17 great
grandchildren, 2 brothers, Eldon Lewis, Oilton, OK and Terry Lewis and
wife, Jennifer, Savoy,TX; 1 sister, Gwen Schnitker and husband, Paul,
Pottsboro, TX and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later time.
