Debra Kay Gibson died April 2, 2016 at her home in Wayne, Oklahoma at the age of 61 years 11 months 8 days. A private family memorial service is scheduled for a later date under the care of Wadley�s Funeral Service.
Debra was born April 25, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Charles and Helen Reynolds. After her mothers death, Debra was raised by her grandmother in the Del City area, and graduating from Star Spencer around 1972. She continued her education, becoming a licensed beautician. On September 8, 1973, she married Richard Gibson in Del City, Oklahoma. They couple made their home in Wayne. Debra enjoyed gardening, especially planting flowers and trees. She also liked raising animals, reading. Debra was a loving and caring beautiful person who enjoyed making people laugh. Most of all, Debra loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Debra is preceded in death by her mother, Helen; her grandmother; a brother and sister. She is survived by her husband, Richard of the home; daughter, Brandye Gibson Sharp and husband, Sam of Elmore City; son, Jarrod Gibson of Wayne; "extended" daughter, Stephanie Swepston and husband, Kent of Glenpool, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Tyler Sharp, Broc Sharp, Victoria Gibson, Daniel Gibson, Dustin Marquiess, Ashley Marquiess and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial contributions made to Loving Care Hospice.
The family would like to say a very heartfelt THANK YOU to the staff of Loving Care Hospice for all the assistance and care they gave, not only Debra, but to the entire family.
