Memorial service for W. James Gibbons, 56 were at 11:00 a.m. Tues., April 17, 2017 at First United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. P. J. Stewart. Cremation arrangements are by Cordry- Gritz Funeral Home.
James was born in Cleveland on November 22, 1961 to Leon and Ruby Allen Gibbons and died Saturday, April 14, 2018 at St. Mary's Regional Hospital.
He married Lisa Harmon in Hennessey on September 17, 1982.
James is survived by his wife Lisa, two sons Tory Gibbons and wife Amanda of Yukon, Trevor Gibbons and wife Mary of Stillwater; Tara Luevanos and husband Joel of Yukon; his parents Leon and Ruby Gibbons of Hennessey; three sisters Debbie Gritz of Enid, Vickie Elmer and husband Mike of Montgomery, Texas, Connie Waltersheidt and husband Kent of Hennessey; one brother Leon H. Gibbons of McCloud: five grandchildren Payton Pafford, Micah Pafford, Mackenzie Gibbons, Evelyn Gibbons, and Brennan Gibbons, and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews..
James was preceded in death by one daughter, Tisha Leanne Gibbons.
