Jane Giacomo, 79 year old Woodward resident, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025 in Woodward. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the Woodward Church of Christ. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Jane Marie (Wagner) Giacomo was born on August 6, 1945 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Troy and Alta Marie (Cox) Wagner. Jane grew up in Wilburton and graduated from Wilburton High School. She attended Eastern Oklahoma University and received her Associated Degree in General Studies. She was united in marriage to Larry Dominic Giacomo on May 20, 1967 in Wilburton, Oklahoma. They made their first home in Wilburton. They then lived in Stillwater for a short time before moving to Woodward. Jane was the Giacomo Family Operations Manager, taking care of her children, grandchildren and her pets. She loved going to church at the Woodward Church of Christ and spending time with her church family. Her favorite times were spent with her family.
She is survived by her son Chad Giacomo and wife Cyndi of Woodward; three daughters: Kristi Hoover and husband Erik of Austin, Texas, Kelli Shaw and husband Rocky of Woodward, Samantha Patten and husband Rocky of Woodward; nine grandchildren: Rylie McCulloch and husband Mark, Payton Abernathy and husband Matt, Clay Hoover, Kimberlee Shaw and fiance Andrew Hinkle, Charley Shaw, Emilly Giacomo, Matthew Giacomo, Brody Patten and fiance Cindy Gabrel, and Bo Patten; other relatives and many friends.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Larry Giacomo on March 17, 2025, her father Troy Wagner and mother Alta Wagner.
Memorial contributions may be made to WOOF Pet Rescue with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
