Funeral service for Chimanlal Gheewala, 84, is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with cremation to follow the service.
Chimanlal passed away on Tuesday in Enid.

Chimanlal B. Gheewala, age 84 of Enid, died Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at home. He was born March 26, 1933 in Valsad, India to Brijbhukhandas and Jeliben Gheewala.
On February 21st, 1957, he married Pushpa Gheewala in Astagam, India. He was a lifelong resident of Chicago Suburbs in Illinois and moved to Oklahoma in 2002, and currently in Enid, Oklahoma. He started his journey in 1966 by traveling to England. He resided in England for five years and reunited with his wife and two of his four children. His family stayed in England for a few years and traveled to the USA in 1975. In 1977, the entire family was reunited with parents and four children.
Chimanlal was fortunate to work in a career he loved and always enjoyed going to work. He believed in helping others at no cost. Family always came first and foremost in his life and believed in big gatherings with family members. Traveling was one of his greatest passions and enjoyment. He enjoyed trips with family, and also with his good friends. He was loved by many people wherever he traveled.
Survivors include his wife of 77 years, children, Bharat, Nina (late), Anil & Dipak; seven grandchildren, Bhavik, Mukti, Priya, Drashti, Krishna, Arjun and Jairaj.
The funeral is scheduled for Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m.
