Celebration of Life and Remembrance for Gloria Gerhard, 74, of Enid, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The Rev. Jim Edmison will officiate. Service is under direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Gloria was born in Enid Nov. 3, 1940, to William Alvin Gerhard and Beulah (Noland) Gerhard.
She attended Enid schools, graduating from the class of 1960. Shortly after graduating, she married John Jack and they had two sons, John Jr. and Warren.
Gloria enjoyed crafts, painting and making plaster plaques. She also loved to fish and frequently went to Salt Plains hoping to land a few catfish. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren. Gloria was a Christian and attended Davis Park Christian Church, where she was baptized at age 15.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Warren Jack II; and sister-in-law, Delores Gerhard.
She is survived by her sons, John Jack, Jr., of Skiatook, Okla., and Warren Jack and wife Gretchen, of Tulsa, Okla.; three grandchildren, Adam Jack of Garfield, Ark., Randy Jack of Mississippi and Heather Steele and husband Tyler of Broken Arrow, Okla.; three step-grandchildren, Chris Benton and Vanessa Benton of Albuquerque, N.M., and Robert Benton of Mountain Air, N.M.; three brothers, Robert "Bob" Gerhard and wife Sandy of Richland, Texas, William "Bill" Gerhard of Enid, and Dennis Gerhard and wife Tammie of Enid; three sisters, Betty Howerton of Enid, Donna Heffron and husband Steve of Enid and Janice Rork and husband Roy of Enid; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Memorials may be made to Our Daily Bread, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of funds.
