Donna Gayle (Lyons) George

TAHLEQUAH — Memorial Services for Donna Gayle George will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, at the Peggs Pentecostal Church, Peggs, with the Rev. Dennis Fine officiating.

Donna Gayle George, daughter of Ernest and Charlene Lyons was born Dec. 11, 1958, in Tahlequah, and passed away Dec. 20, 2010, in Tahlequah. She was 52 years of age.

Donna attended Tahlequah High School. She was a longtime employee of Pizza Hut in Tahlequah and Simple Simon's in Coweta. Donna enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Donna is survived by two sons, Michael Walters of Rogers, Ark., and Phillip George and wife Sophia, of Tulsa; her mother, Charlene Lyons of Peggs; two brothers, Ernie Lyons and wife Teresa of Tahlequah, and Bobby Lyons and wife Tammy, of Peggs; one sister, Joann Neugin of Muskogee; two grandsons; Morgan Walters of Rogers, Ark., and Aiden George, of Tulsa; one granddaughter, Morgan Walters, of Rogers, Ark.; seven nephews and one niece; numerous relatives and friends and one very special friend, Donna Canterbury.

Donna was preceded in death by her father Ernest Lyons; daughter-in-law Melinda Walters, and granddaughter Hana Walters.
