Services to celebrate and remember the life of Chaz Ray Geionety will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 13th, 2026 in the Chapel at DeLozier Funeral Service in Chelsea. Chaz Ray Geionety, who was known for his love of life, and a generous heart, passed away on May 29, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was 54 years old.
Born on August 18, 1971, in Lawton, Oklahoma, he was a man who made an impression wherever he went because he had a remarkable gift for connecting with people. He was a storyteller in the truest sense, and no matter what subject came up in conversation, he always seemed to have a story to share.
Chaz loved music and enjoyed singing, especially karaoke, where he could share his voice and his personality with everyone in the room. At one point in his life, he also worked as a DJ, a role that showcased his love of music and his ability to bring joy to others. He had a distinctive style and appreciated the little things that expressed who he was, including bandanas and sunglasses. He also enjoyed collecting movies, and he found happiness in the simple pleasures of life.
He was also known for his dad jokes, which he delivered with pride and perfect timing. Chaz had a big heart and a generous nature, and he cared deeply for his family and friends.
Chaz is survived by his wife, Elita Elaine Lee; his sons, Dakota Roberts, Seth Lee, and Nathan Lee; his daughters, Bridgette Psalidas and her husband Donovan, and Brittany Lee; his sisters, Stacy Palmer and Caroline Geionety; his grandchildren, Misty Valle and Jeramie Valle; and his parents, David Palmer and Nancy Geionety. He leaves behind a family who will cherish his memory and carry forward the love, laughter, and stories he shared so freely.
