Rylee Geddes, 42 year old Woodward resident, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025 north of Woodward. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Monday, April 28, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Rylee Walter Lewis Geddes was born on April 13, 1983 in Woodward, Oklahoma; he was the son of Ryan Lynn Geddes and Yvonne Elaine Merriman. Rylee attended school in Fargo from Kindergarten through his Senior year in Fargo and graduated from Fargo High School in 2001. He later attended the Diesel Mechanics Program at High Plains Technology in Woodward. He was united in marriage to Charlotte Coffey on October 26, 2020 in Woodward, Oklahoma, they had been together since 2007. Rylee worked for Diamond Services, Bouse Construction, Great White Pressure Pumping, Grey Wireline, Lords Roofing, and in 2017 he started working as a Truck Driver for Durango Services.
He loved spending time with his family and friends, camping, fishing, and tinkering in his shop. He also enjoyed knife collecting.
He is survived by his wife Charlotte Geddes of the home; his parents, Ryan Geddes and Yvonne Merriman; two sons: Treavon Geddes, Colton Geddes; one daughter Chesney Geddes; one brother Daniel Geddes and his son Jonathan Geddes; mother-in-law, Wilma Welch; sister-in-law, Heather Whiteshirt and husband Alfred and their children, Jeremy, Jorrian, Jeff, Jakobe, and Isaiah; sister-in-law, Shannon and Michael Love and their children Zavin, Zavianna, and Mike; close family friends: Don "Boss" Williams, Brandon and Elizabeth Miller and their children Katie and John Bryan, Chris and Allissa Ferguson and their children, Christopher, Aubrey, Keaton, and Makenzie; other relatives and many friends.
Rylee was preceded in death by his little brother, Chisum Geddes, paternal grandeparents, John and Pat Geddes, maternal grandparents, Charles and Lolabell Merriman, and his niece Emily Geddes.
