Richard Alan "Dick" Gay

Memorial services for Richard "Dick" Alan Gay 60, of Skiatook, Oklahoma, will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Richard passed away on August 2, 2016 at his residence in Skiatook. He was born on July 22, 1956 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Willis Wade Sr. and Joan Boynton (Cox) Gay. Richard married Jeanne Bratten on March 4, 1987 in Coffeyville, Kansas. In 1992 they moved to Skiatook making it their home. He supported his family as a carpenter. Earlier in life he was a member of the Moose Lodge.

Richard is survived by his wife Jeanne of the home, three children: Richard Gay II and wife Jennifer of Talala; Stetson Gay and wife Amber of Skiatook; Pashia Gay of Skiatook; two step children: Christie Orcutt and husband Joe of Skiatook; Chad Thornbrough of Ponca City; 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a sister Jean Buford and husband Bill of Bartlesville; two brothers: George Gay and wife Michelle of Pawhuska and Willis Wade Gay II "Spugo" of Bartlesville.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation services were under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home.
