Tonya Gaunder, 57 year old Woodward resident, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022 in Woodward. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Tonya Lynn (Douglas) Gaunder was born on December 28, 1964 in Olney, Texas to Donald Richard and Sylvia Dianne (Anderson) Douglas. Tonya grew up in Perryton, Texas and attended Perryton schools. She was married to Paul Knight and they made their home in Burleson, Texas. She worked as a Claims Analyst for UPS in Fort Worth, Texas.
She enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, shooting and going to gun shows. Tonya loved life, her work, her co-workers and she loved her family and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her mom, Dianne Douglas of Woodward; one son, Justin Gaunder and wife Amber; one daughter Robyn Gaunder; one sister Becky Diercks and husband Darrin; three granddogs, Lola, Dixie, and Zues; other relatives and many friends.
Tonya was preceded in death by her partner Paul Knight, her father and grandparents.
