Janice Ann (Chester) Gatlin
March 7, 1961 ~ July 13, 2021 (age 60)

Janice Ann Gatlin was born March 7, 1961 in Anderson, Indiana to Richard and JoAnn (Brown) Chester. She passed away July 13, 2021 in her home in Chandler with her family at her side.

Janice grew up in New Hope, Indiana where she attended school and graduated from New Haven High School with the class of 1979. She was one of the most dedicated and hard-working women around. Animals were her passion as her dog Bob never left her side. Janice spent nearly 20 years driving a truck with her husband, Tom. She loved her family deeply often referring to them as her wolf pack.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents; Richard and JoAnn Chester; husband of 31 years, Tom Gatlin; brothers, John Chester and Robert Chester. Survivors include her sons, Travis Gatlin and his fiancé Jessica Askins of Edmond, Troy Gatlin of Chandler; sister, Mary Deckard and her husband Steve of Virginia; along with other family and friends and her little dog, Bob.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 2021 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
