Debra Elizabeth (Bruett) Gathe

Debra Elizabeth (Bruett) Gathe
September 5, 1965 ~ March 22, 2023 | 57 Years Old

Debra (Debbie) Elizabeth Bruett-Gathe, 57 of Lawton, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 after a difficult battle with cancer at Temple Manor, Temple, OK.

Debbie was born on September 5, 1965 in Springfield, MO, to the late Norman E. and Catherine L. Bruett-Jones as she was one of six children. She went to school for massage therapy and worked as an independent massage therapist. Debbie was shy, private, strong willed and a fighter! She had a huge heart. Especially, for those she loved and her fur babies! Her sense of humor and witty personality were priceless.

Debbie has one son, Christopher (Kimberly) Gathe and three granddaughters, Anna Marie, Myra Leanne and Lillian Grace, all from Idaho. Surviving siblings, Vincent (Sharon), Shelly, LouAnne (Darryl), Chad and Lindsey. Her beloved cat Saber. Debbie adored and spent time with her niece Chelsea and loved all her nieces, nephews and cousins very much.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to your local Humane Society in honor of Debbie’s name as it would be greatly appreciated.
