Martha Blair (Sims) Garland

November 14, 1913 ~ September 10, 2004

GARLAND, Martha Blair (Sims) (age 90) Born November 14, 1913 in Chickasha, Oklahoma; died peacefully on September 10, 2004, in Bonita (San Diego County), CA. Martha is preceded by her loving husband of 63 years, Walter C. Garland, and her sisters, Marian Stine and Anna Lee O'Neal. She is survived by her daughters, Glennalie Coleman and Jeaniece Garland, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Martha lived in Reseda, CA, from 1941 to 2001. She was a founding member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, a member of the Altar Society and the senior citizen's club. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends, and playing cards and bingo. She was a warm hearted, fun loving, generous person and will be dearly missed.

Services will be held the weekend of September 18, at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary in the Little Chapel of Roses, in Bonita, CA; please call 619-498-4800 for details.

Family prefers donations in Martha's name be made to the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
