Peggy Ellen Gardner, 75, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at her home in Cushing, OK.
Peggy was born May 1, 1946, in Stroud, OK to Arthur and Meredith (Swafford) Vinson. She was a graduate of Stroud High School. Peggy retired from Gulf Stream working in the payroll department. Peggy was a very sweet, kind, likable and loving person. In later years, she worked at the Stroud Best Western Motel. Working at the motel allowed Peggy to keep connections with friends and acquaintances in Stroud.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; husband Rocky Gardner; sisters Joan Ewer and Donna Mae Hansen; and brother Kenneth Vinson.
Survivors include nieces Tammy Greene, Debbie Todd, Karen Murphy, Diana Biggs, Kathy Dewitt, Angela Jenkins, Krystal Lewis, Glenda Funk, Carole Valliquette, Janet Martin, Mary Jackson and Cindy Weir; nephews Tony Ewer, Kenny Vinson, and Mike Buchanan; Cousin Evelyn Smith; Great nephews Josh Pauley and wife Katie, and Jonathan Pauley; extended family and friends.
