Celebration of Life Service for Summer Garcia, 43 of Pond Creek, will be Friday, September 2, 2022 at 2:00 pm in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Les Claborn officiating. Cremation arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Summer was born on March 26, 1979 in Enid to Deborah Kaye Young and Delbert Powell and died on August 28, 2022 in Oklahoma City.
She was raised by her parents, Deborah Young and Lyle Smith. Summer married the love of her life, Micheal Garcia. She had a passion of cooking for her family and friends. Summer adored her grandson, Emmett and loved her dogs (Boys). She owned and operated her own cleaning business until cancer prevented her to continue.
Summer was preceded in death by her parents, Deborah, Lyle, and Delbert; brother, Cecil “Zeke” Ford; grandparents.
She is survived by her husband, Micheal Garcia; son, Justin and wife Kristina and grandson, Emmett Young; siblings, Misty (Shane) Cronister of Enid, Brian Harmon, of Enid, Glen (Christal) Powell of Comanche, Texas, Shannon (Bobby) Clement of Ector, Texas, Kelli Rivera of Sweetwater, Texas, Burt Smith of Wichita, Kansas, Haley Smith, of Wichita, Kansas; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
