Manuel Garcia age 69, of Durant, Oklahoma passed away on January 28, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. Manuel was born on January 18, 1957, in Dallas, Texas to parents Jessie and Mary Garcia. Manuel graduated from Spruce High School in Pleasant Grove, Texas. He then served in the United States Army during Desert Storm and was Honorably Discharged. He moved to Bryan County in 2007 from Dallas and worked for Alorica as a customer service rep. He married Sandra Conner on February 20, 2020. Manuel was of the Baptist Faith, and he was a member of the VFW and local book clubs. He enjoyed going to Wal-Mart, electronics, books, and Sci-Fi.
Manuel is preceded in death by his father Jessie Garcia and brother Michael Garcia.
Manuel is survived by his wife Sandra Conner Garcia; mother Mary Garcia; brothers Jessie Garcia Jr. and wife Lynette and Jimmy Garcia and wife Renea; son Darrin Garcia and wife Kimberly; daughter Mandi Garnett and husband Darren; step children Regina Davis, Leslie Davis and wife Christine, and Destiny, Harmony, and Jacob Troutman; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.
A celebration of Manuel’s life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday February 7, 2026, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
