Saturday, October 24, 2020 Edward George Garbutt passed away at St. Anthony’s hospital after a long battle with COPD.
Born June 7, 1955 to Donald Lee and Erika Elsa Garbutt. Edward was one of four kids. He went on the graduated from Midwest City High School class of 1973. Edward worked in computer technology sales and would retire from ASI June 2016. Edward called a few different places home over his lifetime. Washington D.C., Richardson, TX, and Midwest City, OK. He loved football, OU Sooner’s and Dallas Cowboy’s. Also tuning into the NHL to watch the Dallas Star.
Ed is survived by his children Sara Renea Garbutt and Chloe Alexandria Garbutt; siblings Don and wife Marla Garbutt and Lee and wife Sherrie Garbutt; nephews Gary Garbutt, Sean Garbutt, Brenton Walker, Alex Garbutt and Tatum Garbutt; nieces Shauna Walker, Torianna Walker, Constance Owen, Kynlee Garbutt and Isabella Tart.
Ed is preceded in death by his parents Donald L. Garbutt (11/12/2017) and Erika E. Garbutt (10/28/2012) and sibling Robert C. Garbutt (3/23/2008).
