Carol Ann Small Gamel went to her heavenly home on February 19, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 80 due to an infection after surgery. She was born on December 13, 1941 in Washington, Indiana to Robert Marion and Vivian Terry Small.

She retired with her husband in 2002, when she began her ministry as the founding chaplain of the Chapel at Oaklake Trails. She also enjoyed traveling, camping, sewing, Ham Radio and writing.
She is survived by her husband Ron Gamel; siblings Terry Gump of Carterville, IL, Richard Small of Depew, OK, and Lora Small - McGowen of Huntsville, AL; children Janette Sagraves of Mt.
