Dorothy Marie (Taylor) Gallimore, the daughter of Lane Taylor and Alberta (Wilkerson) Taylor, was born September 23, 1959, in Bakersfield, California. She passed from this life November 23, 2007, at Memorial Hospital in Stilwell, Oklahoma at 48 years of age.
Dorothy was married to Jerry Lynn Gallimore, and spent her life as a homemaker. Together, with her son, Chris, she loved to watch the birds and deer near her home and enjoyed listening to country music and watching movies.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband of 25 years, Jerry Gallimore, who died in July of 2004, five brothers, two sisters and two nephews.
She leaves behind her only son, Chris Gallimore, of Stilwell, OK., four sisters; Donnie Dugger and husband Arvil of Stilwell, OK., Linda Riggs and husband George of Sayre, OK., Roberta Jordan and husband J.R., Patricia Nelson and husband Chester, all of Stilwell, OK., two sister in laws; Gail Pool, and husband Gene of Canadaian, TX and Barbara Gallimore of Papa, TX., several nephews and nieces, including two special nieces, Donna Dugger and Bailey Ballard.
Services were held Saturday, November 24, 2007, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Glen Hopkins officiating. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, Texas on Monday, November 26, 2007. Burial was under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
