Bonnie Hope (Leonard) Gall
August 6, 1942 ~ November 16, 2021

 Bartlesville - Bonnie Hope Gall passed away on November 16, 2021, in Bartlesville at the age of 79. She was born to Glenn Perry Leonard and Hope Blaisdell Leonard in East Orange, New Jersey on August 6, 1942.

She attended Mount Holyoke College earning a Bachelor of Art Degree and later attended Ohio State University where she earned her Doctorate Degree in Physical Chemistry. She met Jim at Ohio State and they were married on August 20, 1966. They recently celebrated 55 years of marriage. She spent her working years as a research chemist for the Bureau of Mines.

Bonnie was known as a lovely lady, wife and mother. She was an avid birder, sharp bridge player, artist, and volunteer at Tulsa Zoo and Sutton Avian Research Center. She also helped on many bird surveys, especially enjoying prairie chicken surveys on the Tallgrass Prairie. One of her favorite activities was walking and birding near the house with her dogs.

She is preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Hope Leonard, and her brothers Larry and Fred Leonard.

Bonnie is survived by her husband Jim Gall, three daughters: Michelle and husband Jeff Spillars, Leslie and husband Burnie Kessner, and Kristin and husband Chris Mitchell; six grandchildren: Ryan Spillars, Hayden Spillars, Lee Kessner, Cole Mitchell, Sydney Mitchell, and Natalie Mitchell.

Private family services will be held, and cremation is under the care of Stumpff Funeral Home and Crematory.
