Ricky Wayne Gaches

Nov. 17, 1959 ~ Nov. 27, 2012

Tahlequah � ANCHORAGE, Alaska � Services for Ricky Wayne Gaches, 53, or Anchorage, Alaska, will be held Saturday, Dec. 8, at 10 a.m., at Calvary Southern Baptist Church in Stilwell, with Brother Joe Carl Wolf officiating.

Ricky Wayne Gaches was born, Nov. 17, 1959, in Stilwell, to Farris Edwin Gaches and Mary Ann (Burgess) Gaches, and departed this life on Nov. 27, 2012, at the age of 53 years and nine days.

Rick was a heavy equipment operator in Alaska for many years, but his passion was spending time with wife, Dana, and children in Alaska, as well as his family in Oklahoma. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Everyone who knew Rick would agree that he had a most special laugh that was contagious to all. He was a member of the Lighthouse Church in Stilwell.

Rick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Boyd and Pearl Gaches, and Frank and Goldie Thurber; mother, Mary Ann (Burgess) Gaches; and two brothers, Darrell Edwin and William Boyd Gaches.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Farris and Shirley Gaches; wife, Dana (Hodge) Gaches; daughters, Payton Mallory Faith Gaches and Paisley Madyson Grace Gaches, also of the home; sons, Micah Gabriel Gaches of the home, Jeffery Brian Ward and wife Cathy of Stilwell, and Jeremy Wayne Gaches of Mannford; grandchildren, Addiston and Ayva Elk of Stilwell, Cheyenne Riley, Jason Estep and Laramie Ward of Stilwell; sister, Kathy Ann Sellers of Braggs; half-brother, Tracy Hoover and wife Shelley of Tulsa; step-sister, Rhonda Smith of Jay; step-brothers, Darrell Hudson of Jay, and Keith Hudson and wife Shannon of Bristow; as well as several nieces and nephews, along with many, many friends and loved ones.
