Gloria Jean Gable, 69, of Muskogee, Oklahoma entered Heaven's gates on Friday, July 17, 2020. She was born September 27, 1950 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Haskell Hedge and Flora (Hilton) Tye. Gloria grew up in Muskogee where she attended public schools and graduated from Muskogee Central High School.
She married the love of her life, Danny Lee Gable, on January 28, 1994 in Muskogee. They shared more than 26 years of life, marriage, and making memories.
She attended Eastside Community Church. Gloria will always be remembered for her love of singing. She led praise and worship in various churches and always enjoyed singing specials. Also, she was known for loving dogs. She enjoyed rescuing strays and finding homes for them. Most important was spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by parents, Haskell Hedge and Flora Tye; in-laws, Sunnie and Wilma Gable.
Gloria is survived by her husband, Danny, of the home; son, Michael Hedge and wife Deborah; grandchildren, Brittney Hedge and Zachary Hedge; sister, Sharon Clifton and husband Carl; nephews, Craig Clifton, Chad Clifton and family; niece, Crystal Bradsher and family; along with several cousins, aunts, and other family members and friends.
A memorial service celebrating Gloria's life will be 10AM, Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Eastside Community Church with Rev. John Overton, Sister Charlean Callahan, and Mr. Zachary Hedge officiating.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Missie Callahan, Debye Vankirk, Peggy Levesque, and Pat Haddock.
Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home, 1830 North York St, Muskogee, Oklahoma.
