Sandra Dawn “Sandy” (Hadley) Gabby
April 24, 1960 ~ June 18, 2023

Sandra “Sandy” Dawn Gabby passed away on June 18, 2023, at the age of 63. She was born to Richard Lee Hadley and Virginia May (Whistler) Hadley on April 24, 1960, in Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Sandy attended elementary school in Clarksville, TN and Bindlach, Germany, before the family moved to Copan, Oklahoma where she attended public schools. During high school, her family relocated to Bartlesville where she attended and graduated with honors from Sooner High School in 1978. She was a member of the National Honor Society as well as being an athlete and a talented musician. She played the piano, flute and was a member of the high school tennis and basketball teams.

Continuing her education, she was licensed through the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering. Sandy fulfilled her dream of owning a salon when she owned and operated Sandra D Salon in Bartlesville.

On November 15, 1991, she married Mark Werner Gabby. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She loved crocheting and her friends and family were often gifted with beautiful crochet pieces. She was an avid OSU fan and loved animals!

As a Christian, Sandy dedicated her life to the Lord and lived by her faith. She enjoyed reading, studying, and sharing God’s word with others.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Richard Lee Hadley; mother, Virginia May Hadley; nephew, Tyler Jordan Hinkle; brother-in-law, William Bryan Lockhart.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Mark Gabby; daughters, Amy Brite and husband Matt and Julie Gabby; son, Adrian Gabby; sisters, Diane Hadley Hinkle and husband George and Connie Hadley Lockhart; grandchildren, Ivan, Kallin, Paige, Mayzie, and Mackenzie; and fourteen nieces and nephews and their families.

Services are pending at this time. in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Breast Cancer Awareness Association and The Journey Home.
