Cheri Lynn (Futrell) Pless was born on March 23, 1962, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Henley Weeth and Cynthia (Wurz) Futrell. Cheri passed away on January 9, 2024, in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 61. Cheri enjoyed going to garage sales and thrifting, but her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren.
Cheri is preceded in death by her father Henley Weeth Futrell Jr.
Cheri is survived by her mom Cynthia Futrell and husband Marvin of Conroe, TX; children Cody Futrell of Durant, OK, Ashley Cain and husband Cory of Durant, OK, John David Manning of Bonham, TX, and Carissa Flowers and husband Neal of Durant, OK; grandchildren Spencer Mayfield, Ashlynn Mayfield, Tanner Cain, Hunter Cain, Kailee McKeown, Presley Mckeown, and Bradley McKeown; fiancé Michael Phillips; sisters Glenda Wilson and Rena Flowers; brother Henley Hank Futrell Jr; dogs Snowy and Snowflake; grand dog Sophie; and numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6-8 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
