Gloria June Fuller age 82 of Purcell, OK went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 10, 2013 in Purcell. She was born on November 27, 1931 in Purcell, and was the older of two children born to Raymond Ralph Jones and Myrtle Lorraine (Taylor) Jones.

June grew up west of Purcell and attended Washington Schools. After graduating from high school in 1948 she attended college at Oklahoma College for Women (later University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma) in Chickasha where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics and met her future husband, Bill. Later, she completed a Masters degree in Home Economics from Oklahoma State University.

On June 7, 1952, at Union Hill Baptist Church, June married the love of her life, Bill Fuller. For the past 61 years, June and Bill have been inseparable.

In her earlier years, she taught school in Oklahoma and Southeast Kansas. In 1980 Bill and June moved to New Mexico. For the first several years there she worked as the food service supervisor at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque; subsequently spending the next 12 years working for the Albuquerque Public Schools as the Nutrition Coordinator -- retiring in 1992.

In 2002, June and Bill moved back to the family farm West of Purcell, Oklahoma to pursue their retirement dreams.

She was a strong Christian woman and a faithful member at the Union Hill Baptist Church. She loved being outdoors and working with her hands in her flower and vegetable gardens.
