Jerry D. Fritzler, 74, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, Jan. 17, 2014. He was born March 21, 1939, in Goltry, Okla.
He served in the U.S. Army National Guard and was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, uncle and a great friend. He was very family-oriented and loved his children dearly. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Emanuel and Rosalie Fritzler; a brother, Howard Curtis Fritzler; also two grandsons, Nicholas Price and Adrian Galvan. Mr. Fritzler is survived by his wife of 19 years, Hilda Trejo Fritzler; son, Allen Fritzler; daughter, Janet Martinez; stepchildren, Veronica Price, Leonard Galvan III, Danny Galvan, David Galvan, Steven Galvan and Cynthia Sue Solis; sister, Bonnie Rapp; two brothers, Ronald and Delbert Fritzler; 24 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today, Jan. 22, 2014. Funeral service is 7 p.m. at Saxet Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, Texas. A private interment will be held at a later date.
