Lloyd James Friloux

Lloyd James Friloux
October 23, 1935 ~ January 18, 2021

Lloyd James Friloux of Durant, Oklahoma passed away on January 18, 2021 at the age of 88. Mr. Friloux was born October 23, 1932 to David and Laura (Roberts) Friloux.

Lloyd proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War until his Honorable Discharge.

Lloyd married the love of his life Jimmie Doris Riddle in the Territory of Hawaii on February 28, 1955. Lloyd was a welder and loved fishing and woodworking, but nothing compared to the love he had for his family. He retired from the Durant Public Schools where he worked as a custodian.

Lloyd is survived by his wife of 65 plus years Jimmie Doris Friloux, Son: Allen Friloux of League City., Tx. Daughter: Laura Noland of Blue, Ok., Daughter: Connie Vashaw and husband Tom of Gaylord, MI., Daughter: Shery Friloux of Mead, Ok., Granddaughter: Courteny Noland and husband Jeremy Morgan of Smithfield, NC., Granddaughter: Ashley Marling and husband Josh of Hernando, MS., Great-Grandson: Alex of Utica, Ok., Great-Granddaughter: Maddie of Ridgway Hernando, MS. And his beloved dog Maggie.

A memorial service to celebrate Lloyd’s life will be held Monday January 25, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Brown’s Funeral Service. Waylon Shirey will be officiating. Condolences may be sent to the family at
