Jimmie Doris (Riddle) Friloux was born on August 29, 1935, in Banty, Oklahoma to Jesse and Sarah (Boydston) Riddle. Jimmie passed from this life on October 29, 2023, in Colbert, Oklahoma at the age of 88. Jimmie married Lloyd Friloux on February 28, 1955, and they began their journey together raising a family. Lloyd passed away on January 11, 2021, after almost 66 years of marriage. Jimmie has lived in Bryan County for most of her life and retired as a custodian for Durant Public Schools after many years of service. She was a member of Blue Baptist Church, and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Jimmie was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Friloux; parents Jesse and Sarah Riddle; 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
Jimmie is survived by her children Allen Friloux of League City, TX, Laura Noland of Hernando, MS, Connie Vashaw and husband Tom of Gaylord, MI, and Shery Friloux of Mead, OK; grandchildren Courteny Noland-Morgan and husband Jeremy of Smithfield, NC, Alex Harrell of Smithfield, NC, and Ashley Marling and husband Joshua of Hernando, MS; great granddaughter Maddie Ridgway of Hernando, MS; and numerous extended family and friends.
A celebration of Jimmie’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Chaplain David Kautt with Elara Caring Hospice will officiate. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral Service and Cremation.
