John Leon Fress, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away June 21, 2026, at the age of 72.
John was born August 10, 1953, to Leon George and Koula Fress and was a long-time resident of Bartlesville.
John graduated College High School in Bartlesville before attending University of Tulsa and graduating with a Bachelor’s degree.
He enjoyed a career as a Certified Public Accountant and worked at Weststar Bank as well as Arvest Bank conduction Internal Audits, Shared Services and acting as a Trust Tax Officer.
John was passionate about the SPCA, where he served as Treasurer for the Board of Directors.
He was a regular attendee of the Bartlesville Symphony with his mother and was a fan of Classical Music. John was expert at all things Hollywood history and had a Groucho Marx impression second to none.
John was preceded in death by his mother.
