Robert Walter French Jr.
October 17, 1966 ~ January 20, 2022

 Robert Walter French Jr., Bartlesville, 55, of Bartlesville, died Thursday in Bartlesville.

Robert was born the son of Robert Walter Sr. and Rose Ann (Axsom) French on October 17, 1966, in Bartlesville. He was raised in the area, at age 14 the family moved to College Station, TX. From a young age he loved motorcycles; he raced BMX and Flat Track motor bikes growing up. Robert found his career in landscaping and specifically field maintenance, taking care of ball fields. Notable organizations he took care of included fields for universities in Arizona and Texas, the Mariners, Padres, and more locally Driller Stadium. Most recently he has worked for the city of Bartlesville and the hospital.

Roberts loved going to dirt track races, cheering on car and driver #12—his nephew. His passion was being active with his kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews. He attended their many sporting and school activities as often as he could. Robert not only cared for the ball fields he was also a big fan of the Arizona cardinals and OU football. He loved everyone and made friends easily, loved talking and joking around. He will be dearly missed.

Robert is survived by his wife Elizabeth Dawn French; children, Letta (Zach) Toye, Candice (Jason) Taylor, Lilly Uriarte, Nacona Bunker and Tyler Rodgers; sister Tammie Davis; brother Mark French; grandchildren, Trevor, Rae Lee, Jakob, Addyson, Charley, Jensen, Alexander and Theo; nieces and nephews, Dustin, Kara, Keeley, Morgan and Eric; and a host of other family and friends too numerous to mention. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson Braden Lee Rodgers.

Robert’s family will receive friends at the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel, 918-333-7665, 4201 Nowata Rd, Bartlesville, on Tuesday, from 6-8 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday from 10-8 and Wednesday 9-2.

Services will be held 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, at the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel.
