Lana Jaye Freitas, 70, went to be with the Lord on January 9th, 2019. She was born April 1, 1948 in Pawhuska, OK to J.C. and Josephine (Rutherford) Rowden. She married Kenneth Freitas on May 22nd, 1973 in Santa Ana, CA and they shared 45 wonderful years together. Lana was a homemaker and loving mother to three children and many bonus children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tina Woodring and her husband Robert; and siblings, Linda Anderson and William Rowden.
Survivors include her loving husband, Kenneth Freitas; sons, Jay Freitas and wife Stacie, Mike Gilbert and wife Krista; grandchildren, Jacob and Jayde Freitas, Landon, Bryce, and Gage Gilbert, and Judee and Matthew Woodring; sister, Marylou Jones; bonus children and grandchildren, David Anderson, Robert Anderson and wife Carol, Sean Anderson and wife Robin, Courtney Anderson, Sydnee Hunter, Devin and Trenton Anderson, Tyler, Kyle, Caleb and Rawling Anderson. She was blessed with numerous friends and family whom she loved dearly. The Freitas Family would like to extend a special thanks to Valir Health for the exceptional care and kindness over the last several months.
Memorial service will be Monday, January 14, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel.
