Margaret Elizabeth (Hoffman) Freeny

September 3, 1925 ~ November 28, 2008

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Caddo Methodist Church for Margaret Elizabeth Freeny, 83, Caddo, who died Friday, November 28, 2008, at her residence. David Mingus will officiate.

The daughter of Frederick William and Margaret H. Hicks Hoffman, she was born Thursday, September 3, 1925, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

She met her husband in Lake Hurst, New Jersey and they were married August 25, 1945, in Toms River, New Jersey.

They resided in California and retired in Caddo. She loved playing Canasta and enjoyed traveling.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, brothers, a great-granddaughter and an infant son.

Survivors include daughters, Barbara Freeny of Caddo and Vivia Artz of Taft, California; sons, Andrew Freeny of Taft, Keotah Freeny of Houston, Texas, and many great and great-great-grandchildren.
