Kathleen Jo (Eichhorn) Freeman
February. 23, 1929 ~ March 15, 2018

Kathleen Freeman, 89, of Bartlesville, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 15, 2018. She passed away peacefully in her home.

Kathleen Jo Eichhorn was born to parents, Fred and Mildred Eichhorn at their home outside Oswego, KS. on February. 23, 1929. She married Jerry Freeman on June 22nd, l952, in Parsons, KS and they had one daughter, Debra Freeman of Broken Arrow. She is survived by her husband, her daughter, and a grandson, Colin.

Mrs. Freeman was a graduate of Pittsburg State University, then taught for 28 years in Bartlesville, where she was named Oak Park Teacher of the Year in 1987-88 and was inducted into the Bartlesville Public School Foundation Hall of Fame in 2016. She was active in DAR, ADK, Tuesday Club, UMW, and Bartlesville First Church.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 21st, at 2:00 p.m. at Bartlesville First Church. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to the Bartlesville First Church in her name.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
