Jean Frederick, a beloved wife, grandmother and great-grandmother, and resident of Cartwright, Oklahoma passed away at her home on Tuesday May 02, 2017 at the age of 70 years. She was born November 24, 1946 in Visilia, California to Obed Eugene and Wilma Cauldene (Wright) Ford. Jean married Harold Ray Frederick in Midwest City, Oklahoma on February 8, 1968, they were married for 49 years.
Jean lovingly cared for her home and family. She was a member of the Baptist faith. Jean liked to work with her hands crocheting, and sewing. She could often be found enjoying a good book. Jean's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Aspire Home Health and Hospice for their excellent care of Jean.
Mrs. Frederick is survived by her husband, Harold (Red) Frederick of the home; daughter, Lori Shook and husband Terry of Alabama; son, Shannon Frederick of the home; granddaughters, Amber Cheatham and husband Patrick, and Brittany Shook; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Cheatham, Annaleigh Shook, and Caleb Cheatham, all of Alabama; brothers, Ronnie Ford and wife Alva and Howard Ford and wife Linda; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Frederick was preceded in death by her parents, Obed Eugene and Wilma Cladine Ford; sister, Anna Mae Raub; brother, Henry Wade Ford; and grandson, Casey Ryan Shook.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
