Doris (McGaughy) Franks

November 5, 1914 ~ November 20, 2007

Doris M. Franks, 93 of Choctaw, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 in the Harrah Nursing Center. She was born to William F. and Nannie (Walker) McGaughy on November 5, 1914 in Marietta, OK.

Doris was a homemaker and a Sunday School Teacher being involved with other church activities. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Choctaw. Doris came to Choctaw in 1994 previously living in Altus, OK for 12 years.

Doris is survived by a son Forrest Franks & wife Karen of Stillwater, OK, daughter Claudine Dickey & husband Johnnie of Midwest City, OK, four grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, and sister Clara Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Claude, great granddaughter Cassandra, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
