Ralph Francis, age 69, died in Tulsa, OK on May 12, 2007 after a battle with acute leukemia.
Ralph was born on October 20, 1937 in Gunnison, Colorado and was raised in Gunnison, where his life started in the cattle business with his parents, L.W. "Billy" and Geraldine Francis.
As an adult, he worked in the logging and trucking industries, both of which he enjoyed throughout his life, along with being one of the finest damn mechanics that ever lived. He has lived and made lasting friends in Salida, CO, Pahrump, NV and Cushing, OK. His love of life and his joyful ways will be missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his older brother, Stanley Francis and wife Mary of Howard, CO; his sons, Dennis Francis and wife Pam of Cushing, OK and David Francis and wife Sandy of Keota, OK; his daughters, Tracy Kerby and husband Kelly of Acton, CA and Tamsen Francis of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Kimberly and Darren Francis of Cushing, OK and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service in celebration of this incredible man will be held in Tulsa, OK on June 23, 2007.
