February 5, 1941 ~ August 7, 2016

Russell Dwayne Fox passed away at his home in Ponca City on Sunday, August 7, 2016. He was 75 years old.

Russell was born on February 5, 1941 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Foy Freeman Fox, Sr. and Lucille (Fancher) Fox. He graduated from Ponca City High School in 1959 and attended barber school soon after. Russell was a barber for 57 years, mostly in Ponca City.

He married Vicky Pruett on August 29, 1987 in Ponca City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Vicky Fox, and two brothers, Raymond Fox and Foy Fox, Jr.

 Russell is survived by his sister Jacque Combs and husband, Raymond of Stockbridge, GA, niece, Darcy Kidwell and husband, Mark of Liberty Hill, TX, nephew, Justin Combs and wife, Sarah as well as their children, Sophia and Emaline, niece, Erinne Combs Oliver and her daughter, Tessa of Stockbridge, GA, nephew, Dennis Fox and his son, Josh of Claremore, OK, step-daughter, Misty Pharoah and husband, Chris of Grey Bull, WY, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and his faithful Miniature Schnauzer, Pepper.

Friends may come by Trout Funeral Home to greet family members on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A memorial ceremony for Russell will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the Trout Funeral Home Chapel.

Russell had a great sense of humor and was loved by everyone who met him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
