Shirley was born October 27, 1941 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to her parents, Tony and Dorothy Rosales.
Shortly after her birth they all moved to Shafter, California.
Shirley enjoyed being a mother and a wife.
Shirley had many hobbies that she enjoyed but the one thing she enjoyed the most was playing the game Aggravation. She was the Aggravation Queen. She loved playing that game whether it was as a single player or as teams.
Preceding Shirley in death were her parents, Tony and Dorothy Rosales; her brother, Baby; brother-in-law, Cruz Sabedra; mother-in-law, Alice Fowler; sister-in-law, Patsy Moore.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Chet Fowler Sr.; her sons, Mike McNatt and Chet Ray Fowler; her son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Belin Fowler; her daughter and son-in-law, Sissy and Dan Nord; her daughter, Vicki Fowler; father-in-law, Tom Fowler, and wife, Ruby Fowler; two sisters, Carol Sabedra, and Delores and Larry Misner; one brother, Billy Rosales; three brothers-in-law and their spouses, Roger and Terry Fowler, Sidney and Michelle Fowler, Sonny Moore; three granddaughters, Cara Nord, Christy McNatt, and Emmy Fowler; four grandsons, Daniel Nord, Michael Nord, Mikey McNatt, and Julian Fowler; many special nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends including a special friend, DeAnne Boronda.
Shirley, "Mom" will be missed by all her family and friends. She touched all of our lives in a special way. Thank you mom for always being there for us no matter what. We love you and we miss you.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, September 23rd, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary, 2739 Panama Lane, Bakersfield, CA 93313.
Cryptside services will be on Monday, September 24th, at 11:00 a.m., at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 Panama Lane, Bakersfield, CA 93313.
