Mark Craig Fowler, age 63 of Wayne, Oklahoma, passed away on February 8, 2023. He was born December 16, 1959 in Bloomfield, Iowa, the fourth of seven children born to Jack Dwain Fowler and Janice Eileen (Davis) Fowler.
He was raised in Moulton and attended Moulton-Udell High School graduating with the Eagles Class of 1978.
Mark left Iowa for Oklahoma following work. It was here he met Laurie Ann Jones. They were married and raised their only son, Sean. Mark drove a truck for FedEx for more than 22 years, retiring in 2002. He and his son, Sean, then started their own construction and tractor work company, M & S Carpentry and Tractor Work. In 2006 he returned to Iowa, where he started Fowler Ag Company as a Pioneer seed dealer. He later married Sharol Proctor. In the last few years, he returned back to Oklahoma, where he spent most of his days chasing his grandkids. He also enjoyed to hunt and fish whenever he got the chance. He was a wonderful father and grandfather, brother, uncle, and a true friend. He will be dearly missed!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Eileen Fowler; Siblings Tommy Fowler and Mike Fowler.
Mark is survived by his son, Sean Fowler (Hayleigh) of Wayne; Sister Sheila Oswalt (Grant) of Unionville, Iowa; Brothers Randy Fowler of Bloomfield, Iowa, Rusty Fowler (Jeanna) of Altoona, Iowa, and Wade Fowler (Mona) of Unionville, Iowa; Grandchildren Anthony and McKinley and a host of other family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a future date when we can gather, share stories, and remember Mark. Memorials may be made to Sean Fowler and his family at 16517 US HWY 77 Wayne, OK 73095
