Annie Wilma Geneta (Perry) Fowler
July 31, 1922 ~ April 07, 2018

 Annie Wilma Geneta Fowler was born July 31, 1922 in Sweetwater, Oklahoma to Emma (Goodwin) and Walter Irvin Perry.  She passed away April 7, 2018 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 95 years, 5 months, and 7 days. 

Wilma grew up in Sweetwater and Pie Town, New Mexico. She returned to Sweetwater at the age of 15 and graduated from Allison, Texas High School in 1940. She was married to Edward Levi Fowler, Jr. on June 5, 1943 in Yuma, Arizona. When E.L. was in the military she moved to San Monica, California where she was "Rosie The Riveter". After E.L.'s discharge they returned to Sweetwater, Oklahoma where they began raising their family. Wilma was a homemaker where she hoed and pulled cotton, help run the dairy and raised her five children. She took great pride in her home and her family. They remained in the Sweetwater community until December of  2016 when ill health forced them to move into town. Wilma was a  loving and devoted Christian woman and also enjoyed sewing, painting, ceramics, crocheting, reading, quilting and spending time with her family and friends. As Wilma always said, "And it's not a big deal unless you make it.", "We are blessed and blessed and blessed."

She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Odell Perry and Beelee Perry,

She is survived by her husband of 74 years E.L.; 5 children, Char Bonham, Oklahoma City, OK, Vikki Fowler, Sayre, OK, Kathy Heinsohn and husband, Darrel, Sweetwater, OK, Doug Fowler and wife, Gay, Sweetwater, OK and Jill Drake and husband, Kenny, Sayre, OK; 8 grandchildren, Tess Markham, Jamie Teel, Dustin Drake, Hope Rupp, Casey Drake, Tyler Heinsohn, Trampis Fowler, and Lacy Musick; 26 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; 1 brother and 3 sisters, W.I. Perry, Wray Mead, Neva Bartlett and Betty Allen and a host of other relatives and friends.  

The family would like to express their appreciation to Comforting Hands Hospice, Life Spring Hospice, Hensley's Nursing Home and also Elkwood Assisted Living Center for their loving care that was given to Wilma.
