William Lynn "Bill" Foster

William Lynn "Bill" Foster
September 20, 1933 ~ October 25, 2014 (age 81)

William (Bill) Foster, 81, passed away peacefully in his home in Norman, OK.  Born in Memphis, TN to Dave and Mae Foster.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Loretta, brothers Bobby and David.  

He is survived by: daughter Sheryl Haley and husband Donovan of Oklahoma City, daughter Annette Marx and husband Kenny of Norman, grandchildren Ryan and Justin Marx, Eli and Mariah Haley, and great grandson Kamron Haley, numerous nieces and nephews and his special friend Donna.

After high school he and his twin brother Bobby enlisted in the U.S. Navy and they both served on the USS Yorktown.

He met the love of his life Loretta when he was stationed in Norman. They were married on February 18, 1955 and out of this union they had two daughters. Bill retired from Seagate and enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandkids. He enjoyed being outdoors and his favorite past time was fishing. He took pride in his vehicles and boat and kept them in mint condition. He was always willing to help others. He loved to dance and in his later years went dancing every weekend.
