Stephen Calvin Foster, Sr

Stephen Calvin Foster, Sr
April 12, 1955 ~ June 18, 2021 (age 66)

Stephen Calvin Foster Sr. age 66, of Chandler, Oklahoma passed away Friday morning June 18, 2021.

Steve was the second of six siblings born to Reed T. Foster and Anna Mae (Danker) Foster on April 12, 1955. Steve married Brenda Jane (Harrison) Foster on January 13, 1974, and they shared 47 beautiful years together. Steve spent a lifetime operating heavy machinery where he helped his neighbors, improved roads and made many life-long friends. He could run any piece of equipment you put him on. In 2012 he established his family business Foster’s Backhoe and Dozer.

Steve cherished his time with his family. He was always taking photos and recording special moments. He enjoyed researching family history and telling stories, going to the casino with his wife and sisters, metal detecting, and collecting coins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Reed T. Foster and Anna Mae (Danker) Foster; His brothers Clyde Foster, Luther Foster and Raymond Foster; and his brother-in-law Gary Van Horn. Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife Brenda Jane (Harrison) Foster of the home; His sisters Brenda Clark and Barbara Van Horn; His brother-in-law David Clark; His sons Stephen Foster Jr. and Chris Foster; His daughter-in-laws Stephanie Foster and Becky Foster; His granddaughters and their significant others, Jessica Cousins and Elijah Baker, Rebecca and Chris Cranford, Michale and Ryan Simon, Dakota Foster and William Christian; And 3 great-grandchildren that he loved more than anything in the world, Maverick Cranford, Zakai Baker, and Opal Simon; His adopted children Gary Doran (Janet), Danny Doran (Tabitha), and Tamara Doran; and many more nieces and nephews that he loved like his own children.

We will celebrate Steve’s life at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2021 in the Lehman Funeral Home chapel.

The family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff that cared for Steve along his journey. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
