Oscar Dan Foster, son of George J.L. and Teatsie Lucille (Dandridge) Foster, was born on October 22, 1939 in Binger, Oklahoma and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 75 years, 11 months and 28 days.
Oscar was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. His family was very important to him and enjoyed each and every minute that he spent with them. He and his wife, Mollie, were blessed with a large family and good life. Oscar was a longtime resident of the Stilwell area and will be remembered fondly by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents: George and Teatsie Foster, wife: Mollie (Spangler) Foster, grandson: Steven Michael Hatfield, sisters: Rosemary White and Martha Lewis and brother: John Foster.
A loving and devoted family survives Oscar. They include his children: George Foster and wife Jeannie of Kansas, Steven Foster of Weatherford, TX, William Foster and his darling Billie Kay of Stilwell, OK, Lisa Hatfield and husband Michael of Stilwell, Frank Keller of Tahlequah, OK, grandchildren: Natalie Foster of Des Moines, IA, Georgenna Foster of Kansas, Daniel Walker of Weatherford, TX, Sheldon Foster of Weatherford, TX, Danielle Trujillo of Tahlequah, OK, Christopher Buckner of Stilwell, Simeon Hatfield of Stilwell, Brianna Keller of Tahlequah, Clarice Keller of Tahlequah, Miranda Keller of Tahlequah, 15 great grandchildren, special nieces: Tina Elmore of Stilwell, Nettie Foster of Claremore, OK, sisters: Georgia Hart of Okmulgee, OK, Hanna Jo Stewart of Yukon, OK, Goldie Littlejohn of Stilwell.
He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services were held at 2 pm on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Roberts/Reed- Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Jim Noble officiating.
