Louise B. (Abernathy) Foskett

May 26, 1948 ~ September 27, 2018

Louise B. Foskett, age 70, of Lawton passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton.

Louise was born on May 26, 1948 in Schwabach, Germany to Louis and Martha (Leipold) Abernathy. She loved teaching and thought of her students as her own children. She helped and believed in children that no one else would. Her greatest joy was teaching and spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Martha Abernathy, Louise is survived by her daughter, Alison Powell and husband Dan of Lawton; two granddaughters, Danielle Powell and Delilah DelosSantos; two brothers, John Abernathy of Lawton and Charlie Abernathy and wife Mary of Waurika, Oklahoma and two nephews, Chad Abernathy and Hank Abernathy along with numerous other relatives and close friends.
