Floyd Arnold Forrest

September 4, 1952 ~ July 10, 2012

Floyd Arnold Forrest, 59, a resident of Copan, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012.

Floyd was born September 4, 1952 in Claremore, Oklahoma the son of Arnold and Marlene (Foreman) Forrest. Floyd was raised in northeastern Oklahoma, graduating from Copan high school. Following his graduation, Floyd served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.

Floyd and Donna Edwards were united in marriage on March 26, 1970, establishing their home in Copan.Floyd enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved watching sports, especially bull riding. Most of all, he loved his family. Floyd was a proud grandpa and always looked forward to being surrounded by his family.

Preceded in death by his parents. Floyd is survived by: his wife, Donna Forrest; children: daughter, Lorena Donaho and husband Clint of Copan and son, Thomas Forrest and wife Sara of Copan; three grandchildren: Lane, Cooper and Cadee; siblings: sister, Rhonda Cody and husband Bart of Copan; sister, Dora Marlene Foreman of Oaks, OK; sister, Phyllis Foreman of OKC; brother, Tim Foreman of FL.; brother, Anthony Forrest and wife Berta of Tahlequah and sister, LaRhonda Sutton and husband John of Oaks, OK; sisters-in-law: Vicki Forrest of Copan and Randy Brown and husband Jim of Copan; brother-in-law: Danny Edwards and wife Donna of Ark City, KS; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services to honor Floyd will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Copan United Methodist Church. Private family burial will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Arnold Moore and Neekamp Funeral Home of Bartlesville.
