Duane Walter Forquer, 83, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 2:00pm at Dighton Marler Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater.
Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio to Walter Elsworth Forquer and Velma Mae (Schutt). Duane married Dianna Lou Finley on March 4th, 1959. He worked as an apprentice Tool & Die maker at Toledo Stamping with his father. He continued this profession with various manufacturing companies and moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma where he worked at MerCruiser. He was a respected mentor for those he worked with. His hobbies were varied; he enjoyed camping, cooking, woodworking crafts and his most favored passion was rebuilding classic cars in particular Ford Flat-head V8’s from the 1950’s.
Duane is preceded in death by his wife, Dianna Forquer and his parents, Walter and Velma Forquer.
Duane is survived by his children, Michael Duane Forquer, Mark William Forquer, Jeffery Charles Forquer and Darrin Walter Forquer; his sister Elouise Cousino as well as 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
