Nancy Sarah Ann (Tucker) Ford

May 25, 1929 ~ 2015

Nancy Sarah Ann Ford was born Sarah Ann Tucker on May 25, 1929, to Henry Walter Tucker and Alice Ann Tucker (nee Roberts) in Tonypandy, Wales.

She married Geoffrey Mark Ford in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England, on April 8, 1950.

The couple came to Enid, Okla., from the United Kingdom in 1955, with their son, Mark Henry. In 1956, they welcomed a daughter, Christine Ann.

Nancy became a naturalized U.S. citizen in Garfield County in 1962.

Nancy worked from 1966 to 1991 at Enid State School as a unit supervisor. In retirement, Nancy and husband, Geoff, enjoyed fishing and spending time with their children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Harry, Stanley, Levi, Leonard, Glen; sisters, Elsie and Iris; and grandson Austin.

Nancy is survived by two children, Mark Ford (wife Susan), and Christine Dellenbaugh; seven grandchildren, Kristopher Ford (wife Tina), Nicole Niichols (husband Jeff), Christy Thompson (husband Eric), Trevor Robinson, Sarah Ford Litzau (husband Chris), Carrie Ford and Guston Dellenbaugh; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
