Celebration of Life Service for Euelene Floyd, 98 will be Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 1:30 pm in Maine Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Tom Pullin officiating.
Euelene was born August 15, 1923 in McAlester, Oklahoma to E.C. and Addie Lane Gough and died on April 18, 2022 in Enid.
She grew up in Shawnee and El Reno, Oklahoma. Euelene graduated from El Reno High School and married Ivan A. Yount. They made their home in Enid and had a son, Randy. She worked for 30 years as a cook at the Enid State School, retiring in 1985. After Ivan’s death, she married Robert Vaughan. After Robert’s death, Euelene married James Floyd. She was a longtime member of the Maine Church of the Nazarene. Euelene served as the church’s pianist for 60 years, retiring at the age of 97. She was a pianist for 84 years.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ivan, Robert and James; parents; brother, Perry; sister, Inez.
She is survived by her son and his wife, Randy and Kim Yount; grandchildren, Erin Stratford and Matthew and wife, Stephanie Yount; great grandchildren, Zoe, Adial, Adiland, and Caleb; other relatives and many friends.
Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to Maine Church of the Nazarene.
